Meet Dr. Candace McCoy
Hi! My name is Candy McCoy, and this is my 2nd year as the South Unit Principal at Kettering Middle School. I am a proud Kettering resident and a mom to three little Firebirds. My husband is a police officer for the City of Kettering, and we have committed ourselves to investing in and bettering our community. Before coming to KMS, I served as a Principal Designate, Intervention Specialist, and English Teacher at Fairmont High School for nearly 10 years, taught 1st-6th grade in Springfield City Schools for two years, and worked as a Senior Admissions Counselor at Cedarville University. I attended Cedarville University, Wright State University, and Miami University where I completed my Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I have dedicated my life to students and this community, and I consider it a privilege and honor to represent my family, Kettering City Schools, and Kettering Police Department in this amazing event!
