Dancing with the Kettering Stars 2024
Dancing with the Kettering Stars is a fundraiser that allows the Kettering Police Foundation to support local causes benefiting Kettering officers and citizens in need. This event represents our community at its collaborative best. In addition to the donations of many businesses, Barbara and Tim Haller, owner of the Arthur Murray Dance Studio, generously provide their time, expertise and award-winning choreography skills. Our judges are well known as community leaders and supporters of all things Kettering. Two mirror-ball trophies are awarded - one is a judges' award and the other is a people's choice award based on audience voting. All in all, it's a fun night you won't soon forget. And its ultimate impact will last even longer.
When citizens, organizations and businesses want to express their gratitude for the excellent service provided by the Kettering Police Department, they sometimes do so with a monetary gift. The Kettering Police Foundation was established in 1995, as a vehicle for accepting those donations. A hands-on volunteer board of Kettering residents guides the Foundation's work to ensure the funds are invested in projects that improve our city by:
-Supporting the Police Department's mission to protect and serve.
-Assisting Kettering officers and citizens in need.
-Enhancing the health and education of Kettering youth.
